I couldn’t figure out what I was in the mood to make, so I pulled out the Colorbok Carnival paper pad. It has 100 6×6 sheets so it’s taking me a while to use it up. It’s become a go-to paper pad when I need a little motivation to get “crafty”. I really like all the bright colors and it’s fun to mix the different prints.
I didn’t make a lot of cards, but it did get me in the card making mood. Here are a couple of my favorites.
This is a collection from a couple years ago. I’m still trying to use up some of the older supplies in my craft room. LOL. There were 3 different 6×6 paper pads and several tubes of washi tape. I picked up many items on clearance for $1-2 each. I still had 2+ paper pads left along with tons of coordinating washi tape.
The patterned paper has lots of bold prints. I was able to pair the flamingo and lemon theme papers with a few other prints and embossed cardstock from the paper pads.
I was left with a couple of papers which were large scenic images that reminded me of postcards. I decided to cut the images down a bit and angle them on the cards. To add to the postcard feel, I stamped a postmark on the upper corner of the image. It was a very simple card but I really liked the way it turned out.
Other than a few scraps I was able to use up all of 6×6 paper. I did use some of the coordinating washi tape on a few of the cards but I still have lots of washi tape left. I’ve got a couple ideas for the washi tape so I’ll see how it goes.
